Our environmental footprint relates to our material sustainability topics; emissions to land and water, land use and biodiversity loss, water use and chemicals.
This is how we work to provide sustainable products and transparency around content.
We have for a long time addressed this challenge by growing the share of sales from products with third-party sustainability certification. Buying sustainability certified raw materials is a good way to ensure that the cultivation and production is environmentally friendly and that employees are treated fairly and receive fair pay. We also continuously collect information on how the brand owners in our product portfolio are meeting their sustainability challenges, in order to identify and communicate about the product categories whose sustainability work is not covered by a third-party verified sustainability standard.
