Chateau Musar är ett kraftfullt och komplext vin med utecklad karaktär av mogna plommon, fikon, sötlakrits, kryddor och läder. Vinet har en fin syra och mjuka tanniner.

Detta vin är tillverkat på tre olika druvor, nämligen Cabernet Sauvignon, Cinsault och Carignan i lika delar. Detta vin representerar ett perfekt samspel mellan dessa tre druvsorter, där Cinsault bidrar med sin fruktighet, Carignan med kryddiga toner och struktur, samt Cabernet Sauvignon med sitt djup och lagringspotential. Druvorna jäser separat med den naturliga jästen och lagras därefter på franska Nevèrs-fat i drygt 12 månader. Vinet är alltid minst sex år gammalt när de släpps på marknaden och kan lagras i decennier.
