Collection of personal data
What personal data is

Customer service and consumer contact

Competitions
When we organize a competition, we collect personal data in order to identify participants, communicate with participants, verify participants’ ages, select winners, and distribute prizes.
Trade fairs & events
At trade fairs and events, we may collect personal data for the purpose of providing information about our products and services. We also collect personal data in order to communicate about the trade fair or event itself, both before, during, and after the event. This may include booking confirmations, answers to questions, and evaluations. The categories of personal data processed are name, professional role, company name, postal address, email address, and any special dietary requirements.
Social media
We use social networks in our marketing. The providers of these networks collect and process personal data from you as a user of the platform in order to tailor the overall service to your preferences and behavior. We do not collect personal data from users who visit our social accounts without requesting consent in each specific case, such as in a competition or if we need additional information in other similar consumer matters. Handling and storage of personal data
AN’s legal basis for processing your personal data
AN processes your personal data lawfully. The same personal data may be processed on the basis of the performance of the agreement, specifically on the basis of consent, or on the basis that the data is necessary to fulfill other legal obligations. This means that even if you withdraw your consent and the processing based on consent ceases, the personal data may still remain with us for other purposes. We mainly process your data to fulfill an agreement to which you are a party.
Contract partners and IT suppliers
We use a number of different IT services and IT systems in our operations. Some of these store and process personal data. We are committed to protecting your privacy and the security of your data in all such processing. Some systems are installed locally at our premises and only our staff have access to the data. In these cases, no data is transferred to third parties. However, some systems are cloud solutions or installed at the supplier’s premises, which means that we transfer personal data to the supplier. In these cases, the supplier is our personal data processor and handles the data on our behalf and according to our instructions.
Internal IT systems
Internally, we process personal data in our customer database, our sales support systems, our inventory and delivery systems, and our customer service system. AN follows good practice in Swedish commerce. We store your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purpose of processing. Personal data is stored in the customer database for 3 years after you cease to be a customer.
If you subscribe to our newsletter, your contact details will be stored for as long as you choose to continue receiving the newsletter.
The same personal data may be stored in several different places for different purposes. This may mean that data that has been deleted from one system because it is no longer necessary may remain in another system where it is stored with consent or for another purpose where the personal data is still needed.
AN’s technical and organizational measures for the secure processing of your personal data
We take ongoing measures to comply with the principles of “built-in data protection” and “data protection by default.” We continuously evaluate the risks associated with the processing of personal data and take the necessary security measures to reduce those risks.

Your rights
Necessary processing of personal data and processing based on consent
Processing of personal data that is necessary for us to fulfill an agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation is permitted without consent. However, in order for us to collect and process your personal data for any other purpose, you must consent to the processing. Withdrawal of consent
