Colman’s

Colman’s was created in 1814 by Jeremiah Colman on the outskirts of Norwich in eastern England and is today considered more or less England’s national mustard with its rich history and manufacturing. Colman’s hot, characteristic taste comes from a special blend of different light and dark mustard seeds. A blend that is a well-kept secret ever since Jeremiah put the lid on his first jar. Colman’s mustard has throughout history been used for various types of cooking and is a perfect flavoring to use as an ingredient in for example sauces, dressings and spice blends. Colman’s mustard powder can be used for all dishes that have mustard in the recipe or alternatively to make your own mustard.

Today there are two types in the assortment, Colman’s mustard and Colman’s mustard powder.
